SnapVik is a place to share moments and connect. To keep it safe and welcoming for everyone, all members must follow these guidelines. They apply to posts, stories, comments, messages, profiles and usernames.
Do not post nudity, pornography or sexually explicit material. Content that sexualises minors in any way is strictly forbidden and will be reported to the authorities. Our automated systems screen images and may block or queue uploads for review.
Do not post hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation or age. Bullying, harassment, threats and intimidation are not allowed.
Do not post graphic violence, threats of violence, or content that promotes terrorism, self-harm, suicide or other dangerous acts.
Do not use SnapVik to buy, sell or promote illegal goods or services, or to share content that is unlawful where you or your audience are located.
Offensive and abusive language is filtered automatically. Posts, comments and messages containing prohibited words will be blocked. Repeatedly attempting to bypass the filter may lead to action on your account.
Do not use bots or automated tools, send unsolicited or repetitive messages, or artificially inflate likes, comments or followers. Accounts are protected by email verification and captcha to keep the community genuine.
Do not impersonate other people, brands or organisations, or create accounts to mislead others.
Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
Do not share other people's private or personal information without their consent.
If you see content that breaks these guidelines, please tell us through the contact form. Depending on the severity and history of breaches, we may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. Serious or illegal content may be reported to the relevant authorities.
